Whether it's a duffel bag for an overnight trip or a carry-on wheeled suitcase for an extended stay, check in advance whether your luggage can be easily stored on the top shelf. The faster you can store your baggage, the easier it will be to fly.

 

Carry-on baggage size restrictions

Make sure your baggage meets these dimensions or the reference size checkers available at ticket counters and boarding gates.

• Baggage must not exceed a total length of 45 inches (114 cm) in the sum of width + length + height. 
• Each width, length and height dimension must not exceed 22” x 14” x 9” (56cm x 35cm x 23cm). 
• Handles and wheels are also included in these dimensions. The exception is small instruments that fit on the top shelf or in the space under the seat.
  
  

Carry-on baggage weight restrictions

Maximum weight limits apply to carry-on baggage only at the following points.

• Singapore Singapore - Changi International Airport ( SIN ) Carry-on baggage must not exceed 15 pounds (7 kg).
• Beijing, China – Beijing Capital International Airport ( PEK ) According to the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC), carry-on baggage for domestic flights should not exceed 10 kg. International flights are subject to each airline's regulations.
• Shanghai - Pudong International Airport, China ( PVG ) Carry-on baggage must not exceed 22 pounds (10 kg).
